You can process files created
separately through a digital camera or scanner. If you open an image file
directly, it will be converted into monochrome. If you import the file
from the Layer window as a Rough Draft Layer, you can adjust the opacity
as well as import color or grayscale images.
Whether
importing from a scanner or loading a file, if you use the Open
command in the File menu, the Image Monochrome window
will open automatically. You will be given three options to import
the file: Threshold Level to 50%, Dither, and Pattern
Dither. This way you can use photos or color illustrations of your
own by loading them into COMICWORKS. |
If
a file is imported through the Layer window menu, it will open
as a grayscale or color image. The file will be on the Rough Draft
Layer, and thus can't be printed or used for purposes other than
web publishing. |
